Book Boxes!!!

Look at my book boxes!!!!

I was proud of how cute they looked, I just had to share with all my friends!!  Each box is simply an ice box from Wal-Mart (only $1 a piece).  I cannot take credit for the idea-- a co-worker inspired me with a picture she found.  She also told me it'd be cute to add colored duct tape-- and it sure is!

Here is a close-up.  I had to add those adorable owls, using velcro dots, to put their names on their boxes.

So far, we've added a cute little (free) book from Deanna Jump's blog (Click here to grab her freebie) using the sight word I, our Brown Bear Color Words book, & our Journals.  I love how they turned out!

P.S.- Tomorrow is Friday!!!!!!!!!

  5. Do you ever have a problem with the ice buckets falling over with heavy items? If so, how did you fix this problem.

  6. How well did these hold up over time? How many years could you use them in a row? I am in Canada and they are $3.50 each. Do you think it would be worth it?

  7. The cheapest I can find these is 3.99 at Target. They are over $10 at Walmart. I do not see a $1 option :( I love this idea and what a space saver!!
