CVC Practice

I got these adorable cvc practice cards from a fellow teacher (she found them online for free at teacher's pay teacher's-- I'm not sure who made them, so I can't give credit...).  So of course, I immediately printed them and started to use them during my reading rotations!!!

The teacher who made them got the adorable clip art from DJ inkers.  I know this because I buy their clip art very often...  it's more like an addiction.  But, I'm not in denial!

I also made a recording sheet for my kids to write their answers down for me to assess ( even when I'm not sitting with them).  The recording sheet is called, "Sound it out!".  I numbered all the cards and made myself an answer sheet.   That way I can make sure they sounded the word out correctly!  First they pick a card.  Then, write the # of the card in the small box &  build the word with letter tiles.  Finally, they write the word on the line.  My kids loved it!

Here is my recording sheet if you'd like it!

Great Resources & Loads of Freebies!!

This is my first blog post.  I am so excited to join the blogging world!  My knowledge of how to start up a blog and make it look super cute... is not really there yet.   I have been scrolling all your AMAZING blogs constantly and I have found so many freebies, ideas, inspiration, and laughs!  I am always so proud to share your ideas with my co-workers and my kinder kids!  One of my favorites that I scroll on a regular basis is "What the Teacher Wants."  She offers so many awesome resources.  I just wanted to give a shout out to one of my favs!!!
