Made it Monday!!

I'm linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for Made it Monday!
I'm pretty sure this is the first time I have linked up...  #lame  So, I have tried to get my act together and start planning out my blog posts.  I am trying to have the mind set that, just like in a classroom, you have to plan ahead.  Hopefully I will stick with it!
My first project I made was 10 freezer meals using my Pampered Chef recipes and spices.  It only took me about 2 hours to do on my own.  The hubs' mouth was watering the whole time.  And to be honest, mine was too!
Email me if you're interested in making 10 freezer meals:

Next, I actually finished a DIY project.  You would think me being a "stay at home mom"... I would be all crafty and have a perfectly clean house.  Well, that is definitely not true!
I made my sweet girl is a bow holder!!!

I seriously LOVE how it turned out!!!  As you can see I had to make two...  I'm sure eventually I will have to make a third.. It's not my fault-- bows just make every outfit look so much cuter!
Finally, Chris and I made it to 6 years!! haha
He made a yummy breakfast and then took me on a romantic picnic to Arrington Vineyards for a wine tasting. Yummy!!

PS- please take notice of the adorable authentic picnic basket..  He is so cute and thoughtful!!!
I hope everyone has a fabulous Monday!

I seriously LOVE our photographer Jenn Harvey!  She is so amazing and down to earth.  She just happened to be at the beach the same time we were-- so of course I had to get some pictures!!!

Finally, a new laptop! The hubs and I are always sharing the desktop and it makes for a grouchy tpt creator and blogger!!

Divider 4

I am so excited that she made this set!!!!  It's actually on her blog for $4.00!! What-- both the color and black and white!  Snag it if you're a fellow tpt creator (or want to become one).

Saturday, Chris and I will have been married for 6 years.  He is definitely my other child partner in crime, my PB to my jelly, my storm to my calm (hehe) and any other funny pun.

We have definitely had our moments, but I am so thankful we have both truly stuck it out--- through thick (like molasses) and thin (like air).

I love you with all my everything Chris Baxter!!
I wouldn't want to walk through life with anyone else.

Have a wonderful weekend friends!!!

Top 5 TpT Tips I learned in Vegas-- Linky!

I had the most amazing trip to Vegas.  Yes, Vegas itself was awesome!!!  But-- my favorite part of the whole thing was the TpT conference!

If you did not get to go this year, make sure you plan on it next year!  I heard there is talk of it being 2 days.. yes please!!

I decided to share my top 5 TpT tips I learned from some of the sessions I was able to attend.  I wish I could have gone to all of them, but I am so thankful for the 4 I chose!

Collaborate, Collaborate, Collaborate!!!

In almost every session I attended there was talk about the importance in collaboration.  We are taught this in our actual schools, but being able to do it from one state to another is amazing!

I met some great teachers while I was there!  I look forward to working with each of them.

The sky is the limit!!!

Deanna Jump's keynote speech was so inspiring!  She has paved the way for educators to have the chance at making more money and inspiring others all across the world- not just the students in your classroom.

I was thrilled to attend Deanna's and Deedee's session.

Buy your own domain...
All I have to say is I will be investigating this ASAP!
You can email me if you want to know what I'm talking about. :)

If this is your job-- treat it like one!

I LOVE this girl to pieces.. but she makes is impossible to get much done, unless she is napping.

After listening to the fabulous Lindsay Perro, I realized that I was right for signing up the little lady for a Mother's Day out program this fall.  I plan to make a schedule, just like if you were in the classroom-- and stick to it (for the most part).

These inspiring bloggers gave some amazing suggestions and tips on how to be a successful blogger.  I think one that everyone should take away is -- be you!

Don't compare your success to any other person.  People can tell when someone is genuine and they will be drawn to it.

It was an amazing trip!!!!

I will definitely be returning next year!!!
