Currently in ummmm April

I'm linking up with Farley for April's Currently... yes, I know it's April.  I thought for sure when I said I was going to step back a bit that I would at least get on like every other week...  I apologize for not blogging, but if you knew how busy I have been-- you would totally understand!

I thought this Linky was the perfect time for me to update you on what's Currently going on!

1.  We are currently living in my parent's upstairs.. We are cramped, but it's FREE!  Our house sold in like 1 day, we moved out, put stuff in storage, went to Disney, bought a lot and I've been all over the place busy these past 2 months!  My Nana is downstairs helping watch my niece while my sister in law sews with my mom.  Sara is napping, so I thought I might actually log into blogger for once!

2.  Yes, I am LOVING my Pampered Chef business! I never thought I would be in direct sales in a million years, and I have no clue if I will do this forever.  But, I have begun building a team and I make almost what I made as a teacher.  It truly is a blessing to be able to stay home with SJ and be a mommy for now.

3.  Since we are upstairs, we are a bit cramped.  I have tried to organize it some-what.. but then I got lax for a while and need to pick back up.  After all, we will be here for a few months.  I cannot live in chaos!

4.  We are already more than ready to move in... but we have a ways to go.

See?.....

5.  And we are trying hard to save money so we can put down 20%.  We are sort close to what we should be at this point, but still not sure we will do it.  Say a pray for us, bc I'd really like to knock off some un-needed insurance each month by putting down 20%.

6.  And my blog name is pretty self-explanatory.  I did add "At home and in the classroom" because I wanted to feel like if I ever blogged about something outside of school it was all good! ;)

Wow, I kept thinking in 2015 we would be living like Zenon girl of the 21st century.. hmm.. oh well!

November Currently!

Loving:

Fall Weather!!  Although, Halloween threw me for a loop.. I was ready for Fall-like weather-- not winter!

Thinking:

I constantly feel like I have 100 million things I should be doing at all times.  It's really hard for me to shut down my brain.  I was determined to get a blog post in today (the dirty house can wait).

Wanting:

Sara has developed a yucky cold or something.  We fly to CT tomorrow and I am not excited about her being stuffy during the flight... Please say a prayer for us!

Needing:

To pack!  We leave tomorrow.. so I should probably get on that.

Unfortunately, it's not for a good, exciting, fun trip.. My hubby's grandmother has terminal cancer and we are going up to see her one last time.  Prayers all around would be nice!!!

Reading:

A ladies Bible study I attend is reading the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan.  I have really enjoyed it so far!  Definitely worth the read.

My poor baby girl has had some kind of stomach bug.  We are praying it was only a 24 hour thing.. and that we don't get it!

Currently...

I'm linking up with Farley over at Oh boy Fourth Grade for September's Currently.

 

 

1.  Listening- Pretty self explanatory.  This silly girl just jabbers on all the time.  I can understand about half of what she says.. but goodness.  She is a chatty cathy!

 

 

2.  Loving- She has been going to mother's day out for a few weeks.  I am LOVING it!  She has some time to be social and I have some time to get work done! 

 

 

3.  Thinking- We aren't even considering having another baby yet and I already feel like we have outgrown our home.  If you work from home, then you can relate.  Not only do I have an office for TpT stuff, but I have taken over our dining room with PC stuff.  It's starting to drive me crazy!  Even Chris says he is starting to think we should discuss moving...

 

 

4.  Wanting- To finish my Home School Curriculum!  Oh my word!!! I have put so much hard work into it.  I'm incredibly proud of it, but I am ready to be DONE!

 

 

5.  Needing- to clean... it's always a work in progress...

 

 

6.  My trips.. hopefully one day I can at least accomplish one or two of them.

I spent some of my day with my precious momma and family.  Today is her birthday. She has been an amazing example on how to be a loving wife, momma, teacher and friend.

Currently...

I'm linking up with Farley for March's Currently.  She has a new blog design, and I have blog design envy.. I think I am going to begin looking for a designer.  Her's is too cute! I have LOVED mine, but I am ready for a change.

Here's what I am currently...

Listening- My in-laws are in town for the weekend and staying with my brother in law and sister in law.  They came to our house for the day.  Welp, my daughter's favorite thing to do is rock and read.  I told her it would make SJ's day if she did it before her nap.  She didn't mind a bit (no surprise there).

Loving- I have been working with small groups at my old school.  It's been a lot of fun getting back in the classroom for a few days, especially at a school I love so much!  

Thinking- yes, I have a comp exam this weekend! I almost cried when I read over it.. but I have been creaking it up 1 essay question at a time, and slowing it has dwindled down to 1 question left.. I guess you can say I am stalling.. about to get back on it.

Wanting- This is self explanatory.  I'm ready for SPRING!

Needing- I am so OVER grad school.. I graduate in May!  I am proud of myself for sticking with it, and keeping a 4.0.  Sorry, had to brag for just a second, because I have never had a 4.0 in anything really my entire life!  But, still I am over this and want to be done!

And what in the world can tennis shoes, basketball, and a gym mean?????

Currently and waiting...

I'm linking up with Farley for February's Currently!

1.  Well, nothing exciting about this one.. just have the washer and dryer going.  I don't enjoy laundry, but I guess you could say it's in my job description as a stay at home mom.. so it had to be done.

2.  I just went to a consignment sale for boutique style clothes for my daughter-- I may have spent a lot of money-- shhhhhh!  But it was well worth it! I also saved a ton too!!!

Yes, those are sparkly TOMS! Ahhh- so cute!

3. & 4.  I am soooo excited to meet my new sweet niece!  Since I have a 1 year old.. waiting at the hospital wasn't the best idea.. so, instead I am going stir crazy waiting to get a phone call to head down there!!!!

5.  I have been working on my February Math & Literacy Centers for a while now.. I am so ready to be done! I wanted to have them up at the beginning of Feb... but, oh well! I'm working hard though.

6. Two Truths & A Fib

Truth- I was born in Washington

Truth- working on my masters

Fib- only 1 sibling.  I have a big brother!  He will make the best daddy. Praying hard for their soon to be family of three!

Currently in 2014!!!

It seems the older I get, the faster time flies!  I cannot believe another year has come and gone!  Even though 2013 was filled with some tragedy and heartache.. I would have to say it was the best year of my life!  God blessed my husband and I with this perfect little angel.

She makes us laugh, cry, smile.. the list goes on! She has brought so much joy to my life!  I cannot imagine it without her.

Now that my sappy moment is over.. haha..

Loving- So, I am officially a stay at home mom!

Thinking- Man, I need to catch up on some posts I've been meaning to do...

Wanting- my husband had a week off for Christmas, so he decided to start a project.. We are adding some wood to the attic so we can have more storage.  That meant bringing a lot of stuff out of the attic into the office.. blah!

Needing- I want to have my daughter's 1 year scrap book displayed at her first birthday party, so I need to get busy.  

Memory/Tradition- I impulsively bought a video camera this year because I wanted to record my daughter coming down the stairs and her first Christmas..

October Currently

 

Listening:  When my daughter takes her naps I like to keep the hall bathroom fan on.  She has a noise maker in her room to drown out the sound.. but I like the extra fan, just in case I happen to be doing something that might wake her.

 

Loving:  I love my new job!!  Yes, it's hectic working from home.  In some ways, I think it might be harder.  Trying to balance things at home and sometimes ignore things at home, work like crazy during Sara's naps, be willing to take her to my mom's for a while to get stuff done, etc..  But yes, I love it! 

 

Thinking:  Seriously, is she already 8 months old?!?!?  My how time flies when you're having fun.  I took these today.

 

She loves to read :)  Happy momma!!!

 

Wanting:  I'm so ready to be done with my masters... oh so close, yet so far!!!  I only have 3 classes left.  I think I can, I think I can.

 

Needing:  to go through Sara's clothes.  She has a huge pile in the corner that need to be boxed up.  I must go buy some tubs this week!

 

Trick:  The snipping tool.  You can take a snapshot of pretty much anything.  Including a PDF!!!  Yup, that's right.  Want to insert your worksheet into your ppt-- you can do it!

 

Guess what day it is?!?!?!  HUMP Day!!!!!
